About the Item

The Kerry Side Table or Night Stand by Thomas Hayes Studio, with thin square solid patinated brass bases available for custom order. Each side table features book matched grain and one or two drawers with soft-close mechanism that open with brass pulls. Available in other woods, finishes, metals, and sizes and each table is priced individually, based on these specifications. This item is available for custom order and the lead time is 6-8 weeks; sometimes we are able to complete projects faster, so please contact us to inquire. This particular pair is in Walnut veneer with Medium Satin Lacquer Finish and Light Patina finish on the brass that highlights the welds and accentuates the handmade nature of the bases. WOOD OPTIONS: Walnut, Oak, Mahogany, or Rosewood FINISH OPTIONS: A variety of Satin Lacquer and Oil finishes are available; please inquire for all wood/finish options. NOTE: The oil finishes are flat, water proof and penetrate deeply, bonding with the upper fibers of the wood to create a silky surface that feels “finished” but looks like raw wood. BASE OPTIONS: Solid brass is available in Brushed, Light Patina, or Dark Patina. Base is also available in flat black, dark bronze, white, or gray finished steel. For any custom pieces with solid wood or wood veneer, we deliberately choose to use beautifully figural wood that may have some irregularities. You can expect much variation in grain and some knots, slight cracks, and small filled knot holes that are naturally occurring in the completed pieces. It is part of our aesthetic and process when making hand crafted pieces to not attempt to hide these natural irregularities that we believe make a piece more beautiful and unique.
