Set of 2 Wall-hanging Shell Sculptures/Sconces by Tony Duquette

About the Item

Set of Two Large Wall-hanging Resin Seashell Sculptures/Sconces by Tony Duquette, USA, c. 1970’s. Cast from an enormous clam shell, these resin sculptures retain all the texture and subtleties of the shell they were cast from. When lit from behind, the translucent quality of the resin diffuses the light for a glowing, dramatic effect. All three shells are identically shaped and textured with differences in color, one significantly darker than the other two. Surprisingly lightweight and fitted with hanging wires. Each 19”H x 31”W x 8”D.
