18th Century Aubusson Panel

Originally part of a much larger tapestry, this panel adds the same texture and warmth to a home as the larger piece it came from. It is unusual to find so many of the elements used in Aubussons on such a small piece. We have foliage at the top, then a village with several buildings and a river flowing under a bridge and over a waterfall, past some flowers and around what appears to be a planted field. It is perfect for a small wall or next to a large piece of furniture or mirror.
