A framed printed tapestry featuring a modernist scene of a fisherman repairing his nets framed in a very simple black metal frame. Signed R.Debieve, France circa 1950. This tapestry was originally a showroom piece and has been in storage since the 1950's making it very clean, bright and untouched. Please see the series of books "Ensembles Mobiliers" by Bibliotheque De L'Image for photos of period interiors that incorporate Debieve tapestries.
