MARGOT DE TAXCO Sterling and Enamel Bracelet (1955)

A sterling silver and enamel bracelet by Margot de Taxco. After she left the studio of Los Castillo where she designed mostly sterling jewelry, Margot de Taxco embarked on her own style using enamel on sterling. Her enamel was particularly beautiful with its stained glass effect, of which this bracelet is a fine example. It is hallmarked with Margot's mark as well as the eagle 16, which is the government's mark assigned to her, and the inventory mark of 5384. Matching necklace also available.
