Antique Carnelian Intaglio and its Impression Rings
The first ring is in 18 and 22K gold and is set with a carnelian intaglio representing Fortuna Matens, seated with a cornucopia and holding the reins of a horse, Florence, 1740-1760 (Provenance: collection of Robertson Davies, 1913-1995). The second ring represents the impression of the intaglio on gold. They have been designed to be worn together, one on the ring finger, the other on the pinky.
The intaglio is an original antique; the mountings are modern productions from our Paris workshop with French hallmarking (eagle's head).
The first ring is 0.9 inch long and 0.7 inch wide and is size 51 (sizeable), the second is 0.8 inch long and 0.6 inch wide and is size 49 (sizeable).
The price includes door-to-door delivery but excludes local sales tax to be paid to the delivery service.
