A beautiful stucco fronted house with stunning architectural details such as hand carved cornicing and stone staircase. The many layers of paint were stripped back to revealed the warmth of the original timber and the beautifully decorative cherub embellished plasterwork. This was the starting point for the refurbishment. There is a fine balance between old and new with a contemporary kitchen, comfortable furniture and mid century pieces.
