Cecilia Morelli Parikh

Co-Founder, Le Mill

Born in Chicago, raised in London and Paris, educated at Yale and employed as a buyer for Bergdorf Goodman in New York, Morelli Parikh settled in Mumbai with her soon-to-be husband in 2010. A year later, after helping to launch the Indian versions of GQ, and Vogue, she and two partners opened Le Mill, a clothing and home shop that combines labels such as The Row and Olympia Le Tan with goods by Indian artisans and designers. In 2013, they opened a second shop in the city’s posh Breach Candy area and, along the way, rolled out a handmade-in-India furniture line, pieces of which can be found in Morelli Parikh's Art Deco-era apartment, which has been featured in New York and Taschen's Interiors Now!. Recently while on holiday, she paused to shop 1stdibs.
