Proud to offer this matching PAIR of early 20th Century Austria Imperial Amphora “Lily-of-the-Valley” maiden vases. These vases were designed by Eduard Stellmacher and manufactured by Riessner & Kessel Amphora of Turn-Teplitz, Austria, in a very classic Art Nouveau style. They each depict a dimensional nymph figure partially ascending a large Lily of the Valley plant. There are many lily of the valley plants surrounding the figures and a couple of scrolling stems that pass through their long flowing hair. Four main colors are used to decorate the molded vase with gilt highlights, including white, ivory, dark & light beige and gold.
