18th Century English Neoclassical Chest of Drawers in Stripped Oak

About the Item

18th Century English Neoclassical Chest of Drawers in Stripped Oak will make a splendid addition to your timeless decor! Hand-crafted from solid planks of old-growth seasoned oak, it features a generous surface with an overhang supported all around by a tier of dentil molding. Underneath we find framed planks on each side, and fluted corners facing the front providing a framework for the four drawers, two of them full width and two half width. The drawers provide ample storage and are enhanced by a linear raised panel effect, then mounted with classically styled cast bronze pulls with matching smaller castings surrounding the keyholes on the full width drawers. A tier of molding surrounds the base and tapered legs in front complete the visual effect. Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff. Circa 1790s Measures 31.5H x 46.5W x 21D Available for pickup in the Dallas Design District, Dallas, TX.
