Gianluca Corona
Gianluca Corona is an Italian realist artist, born in 1969, in Milan, where he still lives and works. He graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, in 1991. From 1994–96, he further trained as an apprentice, in the studio of Mario Donizetti, in Bergamo. Following his studies, he started his professional career, establishing himself on the artistic scene, as a leading figure of the young Italian figurative art movement. He has held several exhibitions in Italy and abroad and his works are present in public, as well as private collections globally. His paintings are continuously used by the record company, Musicmedia, to illustrate the covers of their CDs. His works have been praised by some of the most important Italian critics, such as Alberto Agazzani, Franco Basile, Graziano Campanini, Vladek Cwalinski, Carlo Franza, Gilberto Grilli, Gianfranco Lelj, Mario Marcarini, Pietro C. Marani, Alessandro Riva and Maurizio Sciaccaluga. Corona’s artworks are inspired by the great masters of the 1500s and 1600s, however, he can offer a contemporary re-reading of both still life and portrait genres. He is, therefore, able to combine traditional materials and techniques with a contemporary fresh and unique interpretation of his subjects, as such, he is one of the most popular contemporary Italian painters in the still-life genre.

- Mighty oak on a gold-leaf background by Italian botanical artistBy Margherita LeoniLocated in Milan, ITThe artist has an elegant mark of nature, and the experience of working en plein air allows her to capture emotions that would otherwise not be possible. She is considered Italy's best botanical artist and collaborates with many botanical gardens where she also holds watercolour courses, a technique she masters like few contemporary artists. The artist herself prepared the background in real, stainless gold, which gives it a modern, warm surface that chameleonically matches the colours of the surrounding walls. Margherita Leoni was born and raised in Italy, however, she spent most of her adult life in San Paulo, Brazil. It was there that she started a collaboration with the botanical faculty of the local university, allowing her to develop interesting research in rare botanical species studies and drawings. For this reason, most of her artworks, illustrate Brasilian botanical species, both rare and common. The artist's mastery of watercolour allows her to take part in botanical expeditions where she paints in plein air. Given her exquisite watercolour technique and her extensive botanical knowledge, Margherita Leoni is considered the heir of Margaret Mee. Among her most important exhibitions, three of her artworks were selected by Shirley Sherwood...Category

- Rocks GlassesBy Inkyeong BaekLocated in New York, NYOil painting on canvas by female Korean artist based in New York. Hyper-realistic, Trompe-l’œil painting that depicts an assortment of glass vessels. The glasses seem to pop off the canvas through optical illusion that renders the image in three-dimensions. Sensational paintings of glass vessels come to life in this dynamic exhibition featuring new works by Korean artist Inkyeong Baek. Demonstrating an uncanny ability to capture her subject-matter, Baek’s enchanting oil paintings glitter with a gemstone-like quality that truly captivates. The material characteristics of glass are fickle, often visually elusive. Yet each work on display beautifully illustrates, in stunning, hyper-realistic detail, an array of objects, from champagne flutes to whisky tumblers. Take the large-scale painting, Rocks...Category
