Family genre scene late 19th early 20th century. The boy, tired of posing for a portrait painter, decided to play by spinning a coin on the table, this game greatly impressed his younger sister. Her eyes widen in surprise as she watches the coin spin and dance on the table, she is clearly impressed by his skill... Only their mother understands how important it is to sit still and pose for the artist, so she hugs her daughter, trying to somehow influence the behavior of her mischievous children. The woman’s face is very serene and calm, expressing only endless maternal love, filling the stage with a feeling of seminal warmth and harmony. Painting an unknown professional artist, it is quite possible that he painted his family. Antique oil painting on hard artistic paperboard, unsigned, framed.
