About the Item
Here is a fine, early American Impressionist painting of a Venetian Canal. The painting is oil on canvass measuring 36" x 28". Overall framed dimensions are 44" x 35". The painting is on American stretchers and is dated 1898 verso. There is illegible writing on the back of the canvass, although the painting itself does not bear an apparent signature. Contained within an antique gilded frame that is an appropriate compliment to the painting.
This package is very impressive as is, and is good, as-found antique condition. It can be hung as is, and is resoundingly impressive and intriguing.
