Artist biography: Sophia is a Fine Art Contemporary Wildlife and Nature Artist, specialising in high quality oil paintings. Known for her powerfully evocative paintings created through vibrant colours, light and intricate detail, with some of her art embellished with 24ct Gold and Silver leaf and it has been said many times to have “a spiritual feel to it”. The creative journey began at Winchester school of Art where she completed her BA specialising in Textile design. This led to a job as a textile designer for various big-name high-street stores, designing soft furnishings and ceramics. Soon after Sophia was head hunted for a job as a Fine jewellery designer for the Crown Jewellers Asprey and Garrard, working with Royalty, celebrities and the elite.
