Sharing a bill with The Rolling Stones, Ike and Tina Turner were on their first UK tour, introduing Phil Spectre's "Wall Of Sound" They brought the house down with "River Deep, Mountain High" In the dressing room, Ike used two cans of hair spray, whilst Tina sat quiet as a mouse in the courner. If someone had lit a cigarette, the whole place would have gone up in flames. The Globe Theatre, Stockton on Tees, England September 29, 1966 16 x 20 photograph hand printed and colored by the photographer from his original 120 negative.
