About the Item
An original hand-signed and numbered screenprint by noted American modern artist, Ginger Osgood (1918 - 2000) depicting Oil Derricks in an abstract landscape. In this print, the oil towers are abstracted and duplicated. She titled this print "Oil Sentinels", sentinel being the word for a guard, or a soldier who must stand watch. Perhaps this a nod to the oil towers themselves, which are left to oversee the oil wells.
