Lynx inside and outdoor sculpture unique black wrough iron feline cat natural

2022

About the Item

The sculpture is a unique, unrepeatable piece. Can be an outdoor sculpture. The Lynx belongs to the cycle dedicated to local animals that the sculptor has been working on. The artwork has just been exhibited in the prestigious museum in Rovereto, the Mart, Italy's leading museum of modern and contemporary art. It has been created with a technique that the artist has perfected over his long experience. Furthermore, he learnt a few technical skills from his father, a sculptor of wrought iron too. A few artworks made by father and son are in significant private and public collections, the best known of which is the Melinda and Bill Gates foundation. The sculptor also works imposing works on commission. When the dimensions reach significant he designs his works in such a way as to disassemble them for easy transport. Biography Ivan Zanoni, born and raised in Caldes (Trento, Italy), is one of the most prominent contemporary artists mastering iron of our time. Ivan Zanoni has learned this rare activity from his father, Luciano, who, among other works, has sculpted a four meters olive tree for Melinda and Bill Gates' foundation in Seattle. Ivan's works are inspired by nature; his artistic research aims at representing not only animals' anatomy but also their soul. All of his artworks are unique proofs made of wrought iron. Both Ivan and Luciano Zanoni are represented by the Milan based Salamon Fine Art gallery.
