Bernhard Sopher

American, German, 1879-1949

Bernhard Sopher was born in Safed, Syria, on June 15, 1877. He was a pupil of Peter Breuner and Adolf Brütt in Berlin. By the 1930s, he had moved to California. Sopher was a resident of San Francisco and Los Angeles until he died in 1949.
