Blue Ceramic Bulldog Barrel Tobacco Jar

About the Item

Ceramic bulldog tobacco jar. A dog in a rain barrel numbered 668 - drip glaze ceramic in Art Nouveau style. A jar with lid in beautiful colors blue and purple. I looks like the dog is sitting in the rain barrel. The type of dog: Bulldog - American Bulldog - Old English Bulldog. Made in Belgium - Manufacture de Céramiques Décoratives de Hasselt - Majolique de Hasselt - 1895-1954. This glazed ceramic jar was designed as a tobacco jar but can also be used to storage other things. It's also a great decorative object by the design and use of colors and for sure also a dog or bulldog collectible item. Terracotta Cat Tobacco jar. A Tobacco jar - humidor with a cat or puss on top of the lid. This tobacco jar in the shape of a barrel looks great ! The cat who peeps out of the barrel has yellow glass eyes, wears a bow around the neck and leans on his 2 front paws on the barrel. This tobacco storage box or humidor looks like wood but is made of pottery - terracotta. Due the wood-look / faux bois with the yellow glass eyes, it's in the style of the black forest figural tobacco jars and humidors. The barrel humidor - cigar barrel is numbered under 2404. This great looking cigar box is a beautiful addition to your collection of tobacco jars, a stunning piece on your desk, in your mancave or cigar bar or a collectable object for someone who collects cat sculptures.
