Georgian Octagonal Inlaid Tea Caddy
About the Item
Fine George III octagonal tea caddy inlaid with various woods on a harewood ground, the central panels veneered with coucous wood and banded by holly stringing around a kingwood band, vines and berried inlaid onto harewood ground with dyed fustic and other timbers, the interior with hinged oval flap, the whole retaining lovely old finish and patina.
