Pair of Rare Deep Purple Amethyst with White and Blue Banded Agate Geodes

About the Item

A natural masterpiece, this pair of geodes brings gorgeous Blue and White Lace patterns that form a frame for the gentle Lilac (Rose de France) Amethyst to emerge, crowned by the large Amethyst Rosette blooming from within. A piece of natural artistry perfect for a prominent spot in your home decor, be it atop a table or as the missing element on your shelf. From the outside in, the first thing we notice is the agate laces, which continuously and slowly formed over millions of years. The agate began forming Blue-Teal laces that suddenly developed into White ones, later giving space for the crystallized Amethyst to form. Inside the agate frame, the elegant Lilac Amethyst found its way to shine. Its crystalline points with intact nature reflect the light, creating a sparkly effect across both geodes that is enhanced by the blooming Amethyst Rosette. It is very important to highlight the fact that these Agate Geodes with Druzy formation are in their purest form and no treatment was applied to them. Please check the pictures to see more of it and feel free to message us in case you have any questions or particular requests. You might be wondering how the Blue Lace Layers formed in the geode. Agates develop within bubbles or cavities in igneous basalt (volcanic rock), and over time, these voids fill with layers of water rich in Silica. As the water slowly evaporates, it leaves behind a layer of jellied Silica, which then solidifies into a layer. This process is exceptionally slow, and each layer contains different impurities, which results in the formation of bands of various colors. ▫️ Pair of Lace Agate Geode with Lilac Amethyst and Amethyst Rosette ▫️ Color: Teal and White Laces and Lilac Amethyst (Rose de France) ▫️ Size: Size (combined): -- 5.3 Kg - 11.7 lb -- 190 mm. - 7.5 in. • Rare Amethyst Geode with Deep Purple Amethyst, Blue Lace Agate, and Calcitcite
Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
A geode that stands as an impressive natural sculpture, with calcite, deep purple, and shiny amethyst, and an aesthetical calcite inclusion interlacing that forms a unique display of natural artistry, a centerpiece. Rarely seen in any Amethyst specimen, the contrast between the deep purple Amethyst and the Blue Lace Agate creates a stunning visual effect. The Blue Lace Agate forms a natural frame in teal, white, and light blue colors that allows the Amethyst to shine from within, bringing its grape-jelly purple, along with intact points, creating a lustrous, sparkly effect to the specimen. The Agate Lines are a very special and rare feature of this amethyst specimen. They formed uniformly throughout the entire specimen. The layers begin with a moss agate matrix containing calcite inclusions, which form beautiful natural flowers. These are covered by the first layer of blue lace agate. Atop this, baby-blue and white laces developed, eventually giving way to the galaxy amethyst, allowing it to shine. To crown the geode, calcite perfectly formed on its side, adding a much-needed contrasting aesthetical point to it. On a Cathedral with a Nave top, it stands at almost 19 Inches tall and weighing almost 55 lbs. This exceptional Amethyst with Lace-Agate geode specimen...
