About the Item
Monumental pair of vintage Chinoiserie urns decorated with ornate brass ormolu style handles, bases and rims, circa 1970s.
The body of the large urns are heavy porcelain with intricate designs of textured roses and arabesque geometric patterns with tobacco leaf borders at the top and bottom. The glaze is a light sage green color with beige and expresso brown detailing, while the ormolu style portions are aged patinated brass.
Made in the style of Louis XVI.
Each signed on the bottom with a red-iron Chinese symbol.
