Stunning early vase by noted ceramicist, Anne Goldman c1970s, California. Goldman's work is wheel-thrown stoneware with carved, sculpted, and pierced surfaces enhanced with porcelain and iron slips. Her work is represented extensively in galleries, museums and private collections throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and has been featured in numerous one-woman shows. This piece shows an earlier more refined side of the artist.
