About the Item

This set of vases and trays is the pink rose series, in addition to the dark blue ocean series and the turquoise forest series. Creating colors in the interior of a vase or container, appearing the rose light in the inside space of the vase, and the viewer can enjoy a relaxed rose time, immersed in the sweet atmosphere . Combination of vase and tray, white hollow mosaic frame of the outer wall, made from ceramic or metal . The focus is in the inner color of the vase, from bottom to top, the color is deep to shallow, and the gradient effect is present. Changing the angle, the color also switches between pure white and gorgeous, adapting to a variety of scenes and home environments, with a full sense of atmosphere. For people's vision, color is 2-dimensional, light is spatial and three-dimensional, how do we turn color into light in space? The designer found that this is a very interesting question, which is also the source of inspiration, designer gives the less traditional answer through Rosy time vase. Traditional vases can only show patterns and colors on the surface, Rosy Time show the beauty inside the vase. Its internal space is full of gradient colors, which makes it just like pink light. The visual change from gradient color to light is a transition from real to virtual, completing the visual effect of changing from 2d color to light in 3d space.     Stratiform Caeruleus 1.0.001 is a unique handblown glass vessel with fine filigree cane detail created by the British artist Liam Reeves. Handblown in aquamarine and turquoise blue coloured glass, the interior has a mirrored finish, which results in a beautiful metallic effect. The entire piece is finally sandblasted creating a soft satin, diffused finish. Liam Reeves has been making glass professionally since 1998 when he graduated from Middlesex University with a BA (Hons) in three-dimensional design. During this time he has honed his skills whilst working in the glass industry for some of the best glassmakers in the UK. In 2009 Reeves studied for an MA at the RCA in order to explore the creative possibilities of the medium of glassblowing. He is currently hot-glass technician at the very same and prestigious Royal College of Art in London.
