1910-1917 Arnhemsche Fayencefabriek Lindus Vase Lamp, Iznik Motifs

About the Item

Meet Lindus! A one-of-a-kind lamp, lovingly handcrafted from an antique, rare vase from the renowned Arnhemsche Fayencefabriek. This vase, forming the lamp's base, is a testament to superb artistry of the past, featuring a distinctive matte glaze with a band of Iznik Ottoman inspired tulips and carnations. The Lindus decor, from which this piece draws its name, was produced between 1910 and 1917—a period marked by a surge in artistic creativity and innovation at the Arnhemsche Fayencefabriek. This Dutch pottery factory, renowned for its unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern design, played a pivotal role in the art pottery movement of the early 20th century. Lindus is paired with a sage cord along with a custom, contemporary lampshade in soft white, which lets the vase base shine and emanates a beautiful soft glow when lit. Height: 69 cm (27.2 in) with lampshade Width: 30 cm (11.9 in) with lampshade Bulb Fitting: E27. We can adapt the plug depending on the country of use.
