Spanish Iron Bench with Hourglass Frame
About the Item
This elegant Spanish gilt iron bench was recently handcrafted by expert European artisans using traditional iron-working techniques. The hand forged iron hourglass base has a stretcher with a decorative center twist and gently scrolled feet. It is finished in a rich but subtle hand-applied gold patina that compliments the graceful curves. The seat is covered in muslin, ready to be upholstered in the fabric of your choice. Measuring 20 inches high, 30 inches wide and 20.5 inches deep, this lovely bench is suited to a variety of settings and interiors and the timeless quality of these versatile benches ensures that they will enhance any space for many years to come. We have two of these wonderful benches, and they can be purchased separately, or as a pair.
This beautiful bench is part of our vintage-inspired collection of recently made items. We have commissioned expert craftsmen to fabricate them using traditional methods and materials based on some of our favorite designs, with specific instructions to recreate the patinas and imperfections that you would find in vintage pieces.
