Rare Pair Of Federal Boston Servers / Dressing Tables

About the Item

A fine, rare to find matched pair of Boston federal servers / dressing tables with backboard and scrolled sideboards on rectangular tops. The frame has exceptionally well-turned legs and beaded drawers. The rich grained mahogany with original warm patinaed surface is just beautifully accented by the lovely original brass drawer pulls. The blue green sugar paper in the drawers is original to these pieces. Mahogany and pine, Boston, circa 1815. From a Beacon Hill , Boston Estate.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Age cracks to tops and bottom of drawers. a few dings to edge of one. Otherwise beautiful patina and very sturdy. Please look at all images prior to purchase. They are being sold in as found condition.
