French 19th Century Louis XV St. Wrought Iron, Gilt Metal and Marble Console

About the Item

A stunning French 19th century Louis XV st. wrought iron, gilt metal and Brèche d'Alep marble console. The wall mounted console is raised by elegant scrolled wrought iron supports connected by a remarkable scalloped stretcher decorated with beautiful pierced foliate designs and lovely finely detailed gilt metal leaves and blooming flowers. Above each leg are striking rosettes flanking the exceptional pierced scrolled stretcher also decorated with exceptional and most decorative gilt metal leaves and wonderfully executed blooming flowers. Above is the original Brèche d'Alep marble top with a fine mottled border.
