Leather Clad Trompe l’oeil Console Table by Marge Carson
About the Item
Elegant trompe-l'œil leather-clad console table, circa mid-1980 by Marge Carson. Deep camel-colored tone with ribbon-look banding at bottom and scroll detail around edges. Table rests on barely visible bun-shaped feet. Table includes small shelf with brass hardware on one side. Finished on all sides so can be floated if desired. Exquisite design and craftsmanship.
Table is in very good vintage condition with some evidence of wear including some small chips and some wear along edges. One corner of the table has damage to the leather. Table has intentional variation to the finish. Please see photos for more condition details.
