AnotherView
Anotherview is a unique company that combines digital technology and design to create portals from home to faraway locales. Its decorative and contemporary windows transform interiors and fulfill wanderlust by offering views of different places, times and people around the globe.
Photographers Marco Tabasso and Tatiana Uzlova and digital media expert Robert Andriesse collectively founded Anotherview. They exhibited the project at the 2015 Milan Design Week and Art Basel in 2016 before officially launching the company in 2017.
Anotherview’s windows provide an integrated 24-hour view of a close or distant corner of the world, encouraging the viewer to slow down and take in the unfolding of life. An iOS or Android app controls the window, allowing viewers to synchronize the scene with their time zone or select the specific time of day they want to experience.
Views of the New York City skyline, the Cape Town waterfront across from Table Mountain and the Grand Canal in Venice are among its transportive vistas and landscapes. Anotherview has an international audience that includes corporate clients like cruise ships, restaurants and offices. Tabasso, Uzlova and Andriesse continue to add new views to the company’s windows, and, as they told DesignAtLarge, they plan to expand beyond windows in the future.
In 2022, Anotherview partnered with ethical design brand Nature Squared to exhibit at Milan Design Week.
