A beautiful view of a street scene in Paris, France. This painting perfectly depicts life in Paris with its restaurants, busy streets, cafes, hotels, monuments, and wonderful architecture. The location appears to be near Notre Dame Cathedral or on the charming Ile St. Louis.
The oil painting is signed by Jan Gridmall and dated 1952. Artist of the twentieth century (1942-1998), having painted many views of Paris.
Period: Around the 1950s, the artist had a great command for painting vibrant, as wells as, subtle colors and for capturing of a mood and time.
