About the Item
A stylised and imaginative take on a Christmas Tree, this brooch is an iconic design, made by Weiss, and well known in vintage costume jewellery, for its unusual geometric, Art Deco style, although made in the 1950s. This design is the 'middle' variant, there also being a smaller and larger design. With dark emerald green, ruby , topaz and brown coloured pastes covering the body of the tree, the 'frosted' baguette 'candles' and grey paste 'star' are the standout highlights and features, giving this brooch its unique quality. This brooch is signed. Ideal for the Christmas season or as a gift at any other time of the year.
