Elegant French jewelry designer Henry Perichon (also known as Henry) gilt bronze pin brooch. Dangling shape in Medieval design influences ornate with poured glass cabochons in the assorted color of emerald green and opal white. Signed "Henry" underside. Security closing clasp and hook to turn this lovely piece into a pendant necklace.
Measurements: 3 in. long (7.7 cm) x 1.38 in. wide (3.4 cm).
About:
Henry Perichon (1910 - 1970), known as "Henry" is one of the most inventive jewelry designers of the period. His studio was located in Lyon, working on a medium such as bronze, silver, white metal, or resin (Talosel), his style is hard to define, reflecting many influences including Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Deco. Many famous actresses from 1950 to the 1960s like Claudette Colbert, Suzanne Flon, Michele Morgan, and Edwige Feuillere wore his jewelry on stage and in real life.
