Antique Edwardian Silver Bow design Locket
with a gold wash over colour
and surrounding glass paste gem stones
all gem stones are original and secure as well as in unusually excellent condition
- very clean .
Locket holds a miniature hand painted ? image on porcelain inside of a young woman
with pink scarf -
with the stamp mark "5" on its reverse.
Jump Ring is solid carat gold
Diameter of locket is approx 2.5 cm
This is not marked for silver but has a pawnbrokers details
etched on one side & tests as 925 quality

- Condition:Replacements made: The front glass is a replacement the original one would have been made from a thicker crystal glass and sat securely in the frame and sat out higher - you can tell this by the way the new piece poorly fits but does its job . Additions or alterations made to the original: Replaced front glass continued - to get to the articles glorious original condition - it is suggested for an antique jewellery restorer to improve on the front glass - currently it is very secure and the porcelain piece does not move in its case. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses.
