Antique Arts and Crafts Silver Plate Tiara Head Ornament
About the Item
This extravagant tiara in the Arts and Crafts taste was created out of silver plated copper in the last decade of the nineteenth century out of silver plated copper. The metal shows an intricately cut out organic design. The head ornament is fitted with two eyelets to either side for securing on the head. On the bottom edge of the tiara we see three cut out squares and to either end two round holes, may be the idea was to secure a ribbon behind the metal.
