In the center of the watercolor Annemarie Ambrosoli wanted to depict the bicycle, and the wheels on the sides emphasize this great invention. The emerald green under the two central wheels represents the green of the meadow. On the bicycle is seen a figure supported by a large sunbeam, which for Annemarie Ambrosoli represents the light that illuminates the human mind.
The trees in blue on the lower right represent the atmosphere and landscape.
The blue tones of the sky bring our gaze to the center of the painting.
The overlays of transparent watercolor hues give an effect of depth.
