"Flower Stand S.F. 1954" - Vintage Illustration
This detailed ink drawing by Irene Pattinson (American, 1909-1999), shows a charming San Francisco street scene in which mustached man stands holding flowers, his hat and attire characterizing the mid-1900's. The top of the flower stand reads "Stockton & Geary," with a sign that says, "Special 25 cents." This is made on a page layout for a book, as seen photographed under the mat.
Signed in the bottom right corner, "Irene Pattinson."
Titled and dated, "Flower Stand S.F. 1954."
Presented in a new white mat with foam core backing.

Irene Pattinson
Irene Pattinson studied at the California School of Fine Art (now the San Francisco Art Institute), San Francisco State College and the Marion Hartwell School of Design.
