A striking Surrealist work by the French 20th Century artist Louis Marchand des Raux. Louis Marchand des Raux was a self-taught amateur painter who caught the eye of the famous dealer Maeght. Later, as an established painter of colourful naive scenes, he counted the artists Utrillo, Dubuffet, and Giacometti among his many well known friends and associates.
