Figurative Pencil Drawing - Male Portrait Studies

1893

About the Item

A fascinating 19th Century pencil drawing of varying male portraits, mostly in profile view, with differing facial expressions and facial hair styles. The artist dated the piece in the upper right-hand corner and jotted what appear to be the names of his subjects throughout. Likely a study for a future piece. There is an architectural element sketched in the top left corner. Original artwork on paper displayed on a white mat with a gold border. Mat fits a standard-sized frame. Archival plastic sleeve and Certificate of Authenticity included. Artwork, 6.25"W x 8"H; mat, 16"W x 20"H.
