A particularly fine watercolour study of the Mayor's Parlour at Leicester Guildhall. The craftsmanship and carpentry of the interior instantly grabs your attention, testament to the artist's consideration to detail and fine brushwork. Indistinctly initialled and dated 1886 to the lower left. The scene has been beautifully presented in a black gloss frame with internal gilt slip and matt. On paper.
