Signed lower right, 'Danail Ochkov' (Bulgarian-American, born 1977) and dated 2003.
Born in Bulgaria, Danail Ochkov studied fine art at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University in Sofia before moving to South Africa. He has exhibited internationally with success including in South Africa, England, Europe and the United States. He is known particularly for his delicate watercolors of animals in their natural habitat and won the UK's "Wildlife Artist of the Year' award. We are pleased to offer this atmospheric watercolor view of Venice.
