Ana Lucía Sandoval (Mexico, 1979) A multidisciplinary artist, born in Guadalajara, Jalisco; grew up and resides in Morelia, Michoacán. From an early age, she has been immersed in the art world, participating in various disciplines ranging from ballet, photography, painting, and sculpture; to graffiti and video art. She also excels as a furniture creator and designer of utilitarian objects. Graduating in Applied Arts in Visual Communication (Lycée La Tourache École de la Chambre de Commerce et Industrie du Var, France 1998-2002) has enabled her to understand the importance of communication between the artist and the viewer. Ana Lucía's work is inspired by the present moment, serving as a visual representation that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It constitutes a philosophical discourse on existence and consciousness, thus achieving a unique style. The artist's mastery of color theory, combined with her rhythmic style, creates an optical effect that enlivens the surroundings of users as well as the space containing her work. The particular intention of Sandoval's work is to convey to the viewer intimate perceptions that the artist has developed through her practice of meditation, which has led her back to basics, to the purest, most innocent, and truest forms; advanced techniques applied since 2005. As she continues to uncover the meaning of her work, it is her passion and dedication that drive her to recognize the source of existence, which she leaves imprinted in her work like papyri, a testament to uniqueness. "Painting, for me, is an intimate moment in my life, or as I like to call it, "The Great Moment." I wanted to return to the origin of an idea or experience, to clear the mind of all that has been learned through a return to the basics, to the purest, most innocent, and truest forms. My way of painting stems from the quest to move from moments to the Infinite Momentum of silence where everything is created. It's not about inspiration; it's about being innocent, letting go of all learned ideas, and simply allowing myself to be intuitively carried away by color, textures, following the vibration of momentum, without judgment. From there, my subconscious is revealed as if it were revealing its power to me when I imprint it. Through lines, as a meditative process, I found that silence has a rhythm that reflects its vibration, which is why I named this series "Rhythms of Silence." The vibration of my painting is a source of energy, extracted from the rhythm in essence, our inner dimension: Being without reasoning, leaving the field open to daydream, it's an invitation to resonate with the intuitive, sensitive, and creative dimension when contemplating it."

Provenance Steve Chase Design, Palm Springs, CA Ronnie Landfield was born in the Bronx, NY on January 9, 1947 - the same day as his older brother. As a teenager, he was encouraged to pursue a career as an artist, subsequently creating his first real paintings around the age of 14. He was particularly influenced by a Life magazine article from 1961 on the Abstract Expressionists, most notably: Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Adolph Gottlieb, Hans Hofmann, Mark Rothko, Clyfford Still, Robert Motherwell and Franz Kline. After stints at the Art Students League, the Kansas City Art Institute, the San Francisco Art Institute, and the University of California at Berkeley, Landfield’s professional career as a painter began in New York in 1965. The following year, after completing a major series of hard-edge border paintings, success as a painter began to materialize. The famous architect and collector Philip Johnson and the collector Robert Scull each acquired large paintings works, as did the Sheldon Memorial Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1967, Landfield was invited to participate in the Whitney Annual at the end of the year. His work attracted considerable attention, and he was invited to participate in important group exhibitions at the Bykert, Bianchini, and Park Place Galleries in New York.
