Benjamin Sepulveda
"The Last Supper" Purple Large Scale Modern Surrealist Abstract Painting

2016

About the Item

Large modern surrealist abstract painting of a fish being speared by a fork. The piece features fish hooks, a common motif in Benjamin Sepulveda's work. Wooden hand models with candles are scattered about giving the piece a particularly surrealist feeling. Signed and dated in the lower left corner. Currently unframed, but options are available. Artist Biography: Benjamin Sepulveda employs painting, culture, and movement to process and expresses the femininity, poetry, and design of the Spanish bullfighter. He often describes himself as a plastic artist, an artist obtaining the malleability to enhance the aesthetics of religion, Spanish culture, and burdens faced within a humanistic experience.
