"Striking" Geometric Surrealist Landscape in Acrylic on Canvas Bright and lively surrealist landscape by Randy Dunham (American, b. 1961). A sphere of water takes center stage in this composition, struck by a ray of light that transforms into a lightning bolt. The sphere reflects a stark landscape consisting of mountains reflected in a body of still water. The same landscape is visible surrounding the sphere at the horizon. Various other geometric shapes surround the sphere, tearing through the sky and casting shadows across the water. Signed and dated "Randy Dunham © Aug 03" in the lower right corner. Titled, signed, and dated "Striking Randy Dunham © 2003" on verso. No frame, but a deep 1.5" stretcher which is painted white on the edges to be hung unframed if desired.
