Denise Driscoll
Denise Driscoll is a contemporary painter exploring the notion that all living things —plants, animals, and humans—are connected in an intricate mesh of being, yet each exists at the center of their world. These simultaneous centers of lived experience swirl within and around us, piercing, enveloping, and permeating with or without our notice. Often, her paintings have no focal point. Instead, clusters of ovals and perforated shapes entwine and melt into each other within ambiguous boundaries. Highly saturated, complementary colors vibrate and seem to float just above the painted surface. Each canvas becomes an imaginary map of exchange, a playful, hopeful vision of momentary harmony.

- "Elements (Lines) 3080" Abstract Layered Composition on Baltic Birch PanelBy Christie OwenLocated in New York, NYThis piece depicts an abstract composition with the use of mixed media and bold patterns producing a work that is visually textured and rich with layers, as Owen creates an intricate geometric minimalistic composition. Even though this work has a rustic and heavily textured quality, the final result is intended to appear quiet to reflect a more minimal outlook on life and art. Creating a piece that allows us to escape the technological realm, contemplate modern living and nature and then communicate how each domain influences another. Her piece aims to engage the viewer with an emotional and environmental disposition that evokes a sense of balance and tranquility in the modern world. This unique work is executed on 2.5 depth baltic birch...Category

- Geomorphology 1427By Andy MosesLocated in Phoenix, AZacrylic on canvas, over concave wood panel Andy Moses is interested in pushing the physical properties of paint. Through chemical reactions, viscosity interference, and gravity dispersion, Moses creates elaborate compositions that mimic nature and its forces. DESERT LIGHT is a body of work that responds to the sense of infinite space that drifts in on California's ocean breezes and across the Southwest's vast, desert expanses. Light and space naturally elongate in these geographies and Moses channels this time warp through both material and process. Born in Los Angeles in 1962, Moses attended California Institute of the Arts...Category
