Heny SteinbergDisplacement - Modern Geometric Abstract Landscape Painting - Ready to Hang2015
2015
About the Item
Mexican artist Heny Steinberg’s abstract artworks invite us to travel from the map to the localized event. She is suggesting that the spatial memory guidelines residing in the relationship between a two-dimensional space existing in a vacuum and the human territories we inhabit.
This 35 inch square artwork is wired and ready to hang. Steinberg uses several layers of acrylic paint, balancing her artwork between abstraction and geometric outlines. The sides of this abstract artwork are painted white. It does not require framing. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental US and worldwide shipping are available. A certificate of authenticity by Artspace Warehouse is included.
Heny Steinberg’s unique artworks are constructed by displacement over a lattice or a diagram by way of fragmentation, union, and re-fragmentation. The shapes that inhabit this multi-dimensional space possess visual values that transcend their actual representation. Her work process becomes a means through which elements that have previously been unnoticed are discovered. Through their decontextualization, the elements acquire new meaning, giving rise to a dialogue between the material and the visual. The only obstacle is the physical limits of the canvas.
Steinberg’s imagination discovers, within the territories, the link between abundance and vacuum, the complex and diverse strategies imagined pursuing the cultural appropriation of space. Her mid-century modern-inspired paintings can be found in art collections world-wide. Since 2015 Steinberg is represented in the US by Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles.

- Ethereal - Large Blue Purple Ethereal Textured Abstract Painting on CanvasLocated in Los Angeles, CAClara Berta’s acrylic and mixed-media paintings blend texture and color to create harmony, mystery, and depth on the painted surface. Her paintings transform spaces into Zen environments where one can quiet a cluttered mind and enjoy beauty every day. Clara Berta’s paintings explore themes such as the ebb and flow of memory, the significance of personal heritage, the passing of physical time, desire, grief, and love. This minimalist ocean-inspired artwork is 60 inches high by 48 inches wide. The sides of this original artwork are a continuation of the front. It is stretched, wired, and ready to hang. It is signed and titled by the artist on the back. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Clara Berta explores the collision between the old and new; destruction and rebuilding lives. She began painting as an outlet of grief; creating something beautiful as the result of loss. Through her creative practice, she has found healing, and further offers to her community safe spaces for troubled teens and women to heal through the meditative process of painting. Her artworks are a language, a push forward in new directions and achievements, while always inspired by history. Berta mixes minimalism with underlying texture and embraces modernism while compiling the odds and ends of her attempts to let her art speak for itself. Her abstract works often include reminders of her travels expressed in unexpected sequences of patterns as well as distortion of perspectives and subconscious spaces. Manipulating the texture with several layers of texture paste and acrylic paint, she will work and re-work her canvases, layering textures to give added dimension, and creating works that intrigue and invite the viewer to explore not only the surface but also the inner language of the painting. A passionate, award-winning artist of Hungarian heritage, Clara Berta's dynamic and highly textural abstract...Category

- For the Sake of Intelligence - Framed Colorful Abstract ArtBy Raul de la TorreLocated in Los Angeles, CABarcelona native artist Raul de la Torre's vibrant abstract mixed media artworks pay homage to textiles. De La Torre allows the materials to take over during the process and collaborates with the unexpected to create works that speak to the natures of dynamism and unity. Experimentation with different materials, textures, and techniques in each of his paintings has been a point of discovery and a major part of Raul de la Torre’s work. In his Fils I Colors series he attempts to find the third dimension through the use of different materials. This colorful 15-inch high by 12-inch wide original artwork on canvas is framed in a natural wood frame. It is wired and ready to hang. Size and price include frame. It is signed, dated, and titled by the artist on the back. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. This artwork is part of de la Torre's Brooklyn Series, which he describes as, "inspired by Brooklyn: the people, the art, the colors, the textures, the poetry." The interaction between the artist, gravity, and the paint is important for the final result. A tilting technique permits the paint to be a major architect of the final result, giving it a life of its own. It results in infinite and timeless color combinations. In many cases, the different layers of color each represent a temporary state of mind, time, and even feelings, places and people. Some of them are embroidered forever in our memory turning to form part of our DNA. To represent the firmness and strength of that past the cotton is mixed with the paint in the works to form a unity. Embroidery provides another layer as it creates thick shadows with organic shapes. De la Torre makes horizontal cuts on the canvas and covers these open areas using color matching cotton thread. When combined with light, these shapes create a more dynamic surface and offer different views of the work to various observers. Raul de la Torre was born in Barcelona in 1964 and attended Massana Art School. About the Fils series, de la Torre remarks: “FILS I COLORS is an attempt to find life, movement and parts that are not static, that change in their interaction with the observer. The different combinations of colors represent different emotions and interpretations for each individual interacting with the works.” Raul de la Torre's artworks can be found in the collections of The Four Seasons Abu Dhabi, the Tropicana Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, the Rothschild Family Collection, and varying Hilton properties. His works have been exhibited and collected worldwide. Artspace Warehouse has been representing and exhibiting Raul de la Torre's original artworks since 2010. The gallery has been a 1stdibs partner since 2014 with consistently excellent reviews from clients worldwide.
