Artist Morgan Fite offers an abstract depiction of how she visualizes the cycle of life. "Inspired by that 'life—death—life' cycle that we all go through, this painting reflects the tension of holding on to the light even as we walk through the dark," says Morgan. "Life coming only on the heels of walking through the valley of the shadow of death."
About the Artist
Abstract artist and Tennessee-native Morgan Fite paints delicate compositions that allude to natural forms and changing light. She paints with neutral tones and feathery brushstrokes that give her art its soft and dreamlike quality. She is inspired by her travels and cites the earthy tones of Central Africa and the textures of Roman architecture as particularly influential. For each piece, she begins her process by selecting a color palette from her collection of flowers and rocks. Throughout her portfolio, Morgan strives to make art that invites, moves, and inspires.
