Hunt's works reflect how he brought order into the chaos of his earlier existence. Philosophy, mathematics, scientific theory, poetry, and astronomy are a few of the themes that run through his paintings and he expresses them with unique imagery. Hunt describes his contemporary imagery as, “Chaotic order pouring from the watery depths of my unconscious”. He divides his artworks into segments enveloped in a singular, intense hue. Drawing inspiration from the symbolic dualism found in the works of Kandinsky, this painting harmonizes opposing colors with a tactile finesse. The artist employs a process akin to a subtractive technique, scratching away layers to expose the latent chromatic narrative beneath.
Ricky Hunt lives and paints in Los Angeles. Hunt began to teach himself to draw in 1995. Nine months later Tiger Woods’ father Earl, commissioned a pastel portrait that he described as “The best portrait of Tiger ever painted”. From this foundation grounded in traditional drawing skills, Hunt's work transformed into his contemporary painting approach seen today. He found inspiration in artists such as Basquiat, Haring, and Rothko.
Ricky Hunt's success started with his first sold-out exhibition at Artspace Warehouse in Los Angeles in 2016 which led to an international collector base and exhibitions worldwide. Notable private collectors include Kelly Clarkson, Graeme Hart, Sonia Livingstone, and Charles Harder.

Ricky Hunt
Ricky Hunt is a contemporary artist known for his distinctive mid-century modern minimalist mixed media artworks. Much of Hunt’s work is influenced by Egyptian hieroglyphics, graffiti, and his tumultuous past. Hunt began to teach himself to draw in 1995. Nine months later Tiger Woods’ father Earl commissioned a pastel portrait which he described as "The best portrait of Tiger ever painted." From this foundation grounded in traditional drawing skills, Hunt's work transformed into his current style. Hunt is inspired by philosophy, mathematics, scientific theory, poetry, and astronomy and these themes appear in his work repeatedly. He describes his chosen imagery as, "Chaotic order pouring from the watery depths of my unconscious.” Combining his love for the clean lines and organic forms of mid-century modern design with the allure of minimalism, he embarked on her artistic journey, aiming to evoke a sense of tranquility and nostalgia in his art. His mixed media minimalist works reflect how he brought order into the disorder of his earlier existence. Adding depth and intrigue to his creations, he covers the wood panel with layers of acrylic paint, removing some layers in the process to reveal the underlying evolution of color. His works evoke the many layers of his life. The top layer is covered with shiny resin, adding a smooth reflective finish to the intriguing depth of his surfaces. The harmony of the overall composition results in a cohesive visual statement. Hidden within the layers are limitless points of interest, constantly revealing new intricacies for us to discover. He signs his works on the back of the artwork so they can be installed horizontally as well as vertically. His success started with his first sold-out exhibition at Artspace Warehouse in Los Angeles in 2016 which led to an international collector base of notable celebrities and major exhibitions worldwide.

- L'Incroyable Coeur D'Amour - Impasto Thick Paint Original Silver Heart ArtworkBy Cynthia Coulombe BéginLocated in Los Angeles, CACoulombe-Bégin's dynamic acrylic on canvas works seek to produce a metamorphic interpretation of the artist's inner identity. Her paintings make ample use of contrasting colors to create exuberance and energy in her images. Inspired by street art, Coulombe Bégin 's paintings range from the abstract to the surreal and employ a variety of techniques and materials. Her contemporary artworks draw inspiration from body image, the universally recognizable symbol of hearts, and the experience of humankind. She brings a sensitivity to her work that stems from her exploration of identity and the joy and happiness of existence. Coulombe-Bégin draws us into her internal world: exploring the soul and matter, conscience, and the modern universe. This original painting depicting a textured heart on a silver background measures 36 inches square. The thickly textured heart is applied with tactile brushwork. It is wired and ready to hang. The sides of this artwork are painted black and it does not require framing. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Coulombe-Bégin’s work portrays from colorful hearts to specific parts of the human body, especially large close-up portrayals of the mouth and eyes, which are depicted with great contrasts of color and chiaroscuro. These symbols are constructed with specific gestures and drippings in which Coulombe-Bégin expresses an abstract universe full of movement, symbolism, and eroticism. Born in Miami, Coulombe-Bégin grew up in Quebec City where she earned a Bachelor of Visual Arts in 2006 from Laval University. Starting very young, her parents focused a great deal on both the arts and athletics which helped her develop her own mode of expression. “I am particularly interested in the fragmented corporal shell, which I emphasize through spontaneous movement and vivid colors.” stated Coulombe-Bégin. “My experience with painting has led me to see things differently, to self-discovery and to great astonishment." Coulombe-Bégin's works have been exhibited and collected worldwide, including Canada, the United States, Europe, South America, and Australia.
