36 x 60 in. (91.4 x 152.4 cm)

“Triple Threat...ME,” suggests a powerful declaration of self, an acknowledgment of multifaceted talent or capability. This could reference a mastery of multiple disciplines, a confluence of skills, or a complex personal identity that refuses to be pigeonholed. The ellipsis before “ME” adds a moment of suspense, a breath taken before the full revelation of identity, emphasizing the importance and impact of this self-recognition.
Together, the vibrant background and monochromatic text create a visually arresting composition that speaks to the complexity of identity and the power of self-recognition. This painting is not just a visual experience but a profound statement of individuality and strength, inviting viewers to reflect on their own unique talents and capabilities.

Born and raised in New York City. He attended the High School of Art and Design and then the School of Visual Arts where he greatly admired and was influenced by artist Chuck Close, first as a student of Close’s and later as a friend. A neo-pointillist, Bezas is inspired by historically important pointillist artists such as Georges Seurat and Paul Signac. Bezas’ distinctive trademark is the vertical and horizontal stacks of dots contained within a grid, which he sometimes places on a diagonal. Another distinct narrative of his art is the alternating dot pattern achieved by the smaller grids within larger ones and the two alternating dot sizes. He has created a contemporary hybrid using his design sensibilities, photography and painting talents, blurring the lines among the three. The dots in his art interrelate and culminate into something that’s larger than the sum of its parts. The viewer is utterly transfixed to realize that the work is created from a mélange of meticulously placed dots of varying sizes into an underlying grid in an artistic, mathematical process, whereby the actual composition comes alive with exciting recognition.

- Night BloomsBy Andrew JensdotterLocated in Denver, COFrom his recent exhibition entitled, Dioramas from Eden, Andrew Jensdotter continues his practice of painting hundreds of layers of iconic pictures of a single subject from a Google image search and then carving through the final amalgamation to create an "original" of his own. What was once representational with a clear focal point becomes a decidedly all-over abstract composition almost archaeological in nature. This laborious and emotional process of erasure synchronizes with the show’s theme – an elaboration on the Garden of Eden and the concept of expulsion from paradise...Category
