Watercolors are a huge change for Tamara, as she had never painted anything close to realism before, but she is enjoying this new dimension. Tamara and her family live in Massachusetts, a short drive away from Lake Winnipesaukee, the White Mountains, the cape, and Maine. However, her standalone favorite place to paint is the American west. She loves to paint from photos she's taken at the National Parks she's visited. Sad news of the recent passing of Kim Simmonds, a great artist, guitarist, Rock and Blues Legend and founding member of Savoy Brown. Kim was a long-time friend who will be missed by fans and all that loved him and his music worldwide. Kim would always sign his paintings before he was ready to ship them. At the time of his passing Kim had paintings in his studio that were not yet signed. This is one of those paintings.
